My Indy Journey – Day 21

Posted On Jul 21 2014 by

Yes, I’m a loser. My camping interfered with by blog posting more than I expected. Actually, I should keep a blog journal of our camping. Let’s get that on the to-do list.

I did get some writing done. Not as much as I would have liked. We had both our kids, now 18 and 20, along, and my parents in the next site. So it was a busy weekend.

Still, I managed to hit 29,000 words in Now I Knew You.  I need to be at 40k by the end of July, so that’s 11,000 words in 10 days. 1,100 words per day. When I plan short term and long term goals like this, it makes it easier to stay on track, and easier to get back on track if I slip.

Okay, back to the normal work week tomorrow!

Just about everything I believe has been shaped by the written word. But books don't force a belief; they stir the imagination so that you, the reader, eventually draw your own conclusions. We grow richer in spirit when we read, deeper in our understanding of the universe and our role in it. That's why I read. That's why I write. To offer you a bit of myself. Come along on my journey, won't you? There's plenty of room.
