I enjoy Instagram as much as the next guy. But some of you are getting a little carried away. Here are my top 10 signs that you have an Instagram problem.

10. You sign your name with little hearts and smiley faces around it.

9. Your cat has had more published photos than Jennifer Lopez.

8. All ten-thousand of your followers know what your bathroom mirror looks like.

7. You track your diet by reviewing your daily posts.

6. The caption under your yearbook photo is “Wait, I gotta take a selfie.”

5. You sit by strangers in the park and pull up Instragram to show off pictures of your grandchildren.

4. You give your first child a name with underscores.

3. When a stranger says “hello” you reply “this user is private.”

2. You take selfies to let your mom know where you are.

And the number one sign that you may have an Instagram problem…

1. You screen capture your private text messages between you and your bff and post them for all the world to see.

Just about everything I believe has been shaped by the written word. But books don't force a belief; they stir the imagination so that you, the reader, eventually draw your own conclusions. We grow richer in spirit when we read, deeper in our understanding of the universe and our role in it. That's why I read. That's why I write. To offer you a bit of myself. Come along on my journey, won't you? There's plenty of room.
