Wattpad Lessons

I had the pleasure of interviewing Katherine Ganzel for the Teen Writers Publish! podcast on Saturday. Most will have never heard of Katherine, but she’s 2014 Watty award winner and has close to 30,000 followers on Wattpad. She’s also a Wattpad ambassador.

I must admit, I’d never heard of Wattys or Wattpad ambassadors until a few months ago. In a half hour interview, I learned how much I’d been doing wrong on Wattpad and the amazing possiblities of becoming an active participant on that platform.

So today I entered NOW I KNEW YOU in the 2015 Watty awards. A free contest, by the way, but winners soon find their list of followers growing by leaps. Possibly bounds.

I have a lot more to say about Wattpad, but I’ll save that for later. For now, go check out @KatherineArlene on Wattpad and her Wattpad guide.

And, of course, follow @RonEstrada as well. And vote for my book. I’m gunning for that Watty!

Just about everything I believe has been shaped by the written word. But books don't force a belief; they stir the imagination so that you, the reader, eventually draw your own conclusions. We grow richer in spirit when we read, deeper in our understanding of the universe and our role in it. That's why I read. That's why I write. To offer you a bit of myself. Come along on my journey, won't you? There's plenty of room.
