What Makes #AngelWarz Different

Photo Courtesy of Flickr Creative Comons and Bram & Vera It’s funny how ideas evolve. Gina (aka. Super G) floated the idea of co-authoring a novel sometime last year. I was hesitant, of course, because I’d yet to release a Ron-authored novel. Gina has two books under her career-belt now, so she’s more willing to try something new. Earlier this year, I became fascinated with the whole idea of serial novels. But again, I felt the need to release at least one standard novel before experimenting. Then, a few months ago, I discovered something that is more properly labeled the …

Another Writing Project?

Photo courtesy Flickr Creative Commons and bluestar_tam   Those of you following me know the deal: I write in two month intervals. From July 1st through August 31st, I will have plotted Scorpion Summer, written the first draft for Now I Knew You, and edited Camp Dogs. On September 1st, everything gets shifted into the next stage of development and a new novel drops into the plot phase. Which means I’m juggling three books at once. Actually, that’s not uncommon. Few authors completely finish one project before starting the next. And most will be deciding their next book and beginning …

#AngelWarz Begins in Two Weeks

Posted On Aug 8 2014 by

Photo Courtesy of Flickr Creative Commons and Gary Birnie   The final, epic battle for humanity won’t be fought by humans. #AngelWarz is the story of two kids who soon discover that they’re not ordinary. They’re descendants of angels. Fallen angels. The Nephilim. These were the Fallen who took human wives and created offspring that would become the enemy of Israel and, eventually, all of mankind. And two of them start their first day of middle school in two weeks. In Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. As Kael Black and Falyn Sammael learn who and what they are, they are drawn into …

#AngelWarz

What is #AngelWarz? You’ve heard me hinting about an upcoming series that I’m writing with my genius partner, Gina Conroy. It’s funny how these things come into being. We started talking about writing a novel together a year ago. Then kind of let it go as we got busy on other projects. But recently, I became intrigued with the idea of writing a episodic series. Essentially, a weekly installment of a story, much like a TV series. I used shows like Breaking Bad as a model. Here’s a series with a definite beginning and end. The writers probably plotted out …
